Ukrainian tourists are choosing holidays in Montenegro much more often than before. In January-April, they spent 6,510 nights on the Adriatic, which is by 2.24 times more than last year, writes ee24.com citing Monstat.
Within four months 91,120 tourists (+5.6%) have visited Montenegro staying there for 336,750 nights (+5.8%). Russians have spent the most nights (60,900, +23.3%) Serbs were 2nd (45,980, +7%).
Foreigners still prefer the Adriatic coast, even in winter-spring period, ignoring Podgorica, Skadar Lake and the eastern part of Montenegro. Guests from abroad spent 79% of nights exactly on the coast: 89,100 in Budva, 55,560 in Herceg Novi, 45,410 in Tivat.
