Development and Tourism Minister Branimir Gvozdenović said that he saw no point in building new hotels in Montenegro, as many existing hotels were empty, reports ee24.com citing pobjeda.me.
"You can not talk about new hotels, when we have 3,000 units out of operation," admitted Gvozdenović, speaking to students of architects' school in Kotor. "I am sure that next year we will find a solution. Criticise, raise your voices, create projects. This helps the ministry and the government. Help us, because we need your help in order solve these problems."
The Minister appreciated the research work of students, which analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of resorts on the Adriatic. He recalled that decisions on major projects were taking not by politics, but by professionals.
