The property market in Lithuania in 2015 remained at the same level as a year ago

There has been a slight decrease , on 1%: turnover amounted to € 1,267 bln. against € 1,28 bln. in 2014.

Slightly less than half of that amount accounted for the country's capital, Vilnius, and 50.8% - for the rest of the country.

 The average cost per square meter in new buildings in Vilnius in 2015 amounted to € 1,453, which is 3.7% more than in 2014 and 6.8% more than the  average of the past five years. As for the new detached houses, an average price per square meter increased by 7.1% to € 780. In the secondary real estate market observed the following situation: the average cost per square meter was € 1182, which is about 2% higher than in 2014 and 7% higher than the  average of the past five years. The average price per square meter in the detached house of old construction increased by 1.5% - up to € 948.

In 2015, in Lithuania, there was an increase in demand for luxury real estate, while the demand for economy class real estate has remained almost the same.
