This autumn real estate sales plunged 6.3% in Lithuania

In September 2013, 10,400 of properties were sold in Lithuania. It is 6.3% less than in August. This information is provided by the Lithuanian Centre of Registers, reports ee24.com citing Baltic Course.

Though housing sales plunged in September, there was a significant increase in sales of commercial real estate and land. In last September 8296 objects were sold, while in September 2011 — 8533 objects, in September 2010 — 6893 objects and in September 2009 — 5237 objects. 

Compared with August, in this September the number of apartments sold was approximately the same, but houses' sales have increased by about 10%, land sales — by 11.6%.
