Lithuania will represent Denmark in issuing Schengen visas in Yerevan

On 5th august comes into force an agreement between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania and the Kingdom of Denmark on mutual representation in issuing Schengen visas, under which Lithuania will represent Denmark in the Armenian capital Yerevan, told reporters in the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Denmark represents Lithuania in issuing Schengen visas in Vietnam. This country has no Lithuanian embassy, and Vietnamese citizens who want to get visa to Lithuania, should apply to the diplomatic representative in Denmark.

In states where Lithuania has no its diplomatic representative, with other Schengen states are a representation agreement in the matter of issuing visas. The goal is to make it easier to apply for a visa.

Lithuania has concluded similar agreements with Austria, Belgium, Hungary, Germany, Greece, Spain, Latvia, Netherlands, Norway, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Estonia. Currently, Lithuania is represented in 64 countries around the world. Lithuania represents the other Schengen Member States in 13 countries.
