Housing prices in Lithuania remain the same for several years

Ober-Haus Lithuanian apartment price index (OHBI) shows that real estate prices in Lithuanian largest cities virtually haven't changed during last few years, according to ee24.com citing Ober -Haus Real Estate Advisors.

In early 2000s the real estate market was the same steady. Then, in 2004-2008 prices rapidly increased, and in 2007-2010 they fell down to todays level.

The cumulative index for 5 largest cities grew in October by only 0.2% y.o.y. and by 0.1% compared with this September.

Price for apartments in Vilnius is €1,208 per square meter, only €54 more than its minimal value observed in May 2010. In Kaunas, the sq.m goes for €928, in Klaipeda - for €959, in Siauliai - for €550, and in Panevezys - for €518.
