There in the quiet center of Riga an Ausekļa iela street, named in honor of the Latvian poet, a representative of the national romanticism in Latvian literature - Auseklis. It seems to be an ordinary street of Riga center, rather short, only 365 meters, well- paved, one-sided, homes - the same Art Nouveau.
Manicured lawns between the wide sidewalks and road, rare trees. But there is something special about this street. I can not explain what, but I like to go there.
If we move along this street, somewhere in the middle of the road on the right is the Vidus iela street. I want to talk about one of the houses (number 5) on the street Vidus iela. The six-story, 15-apartment Charlotte Residence - a very nice house, blend in the historical quarter of the capital of Latvia.
Exterior of the house - it is certainly good, but in the twenty-first century the current tenants should be comfortable to live in the historic center. Architects did everything possible and impossible. The latest advances in science and technology were used. In Charlotte Residence the concept of smart house was introduced, and probably the only one fully automated parking box in Riga.
Charlotte Residence uniqueness is in fact that in most cases the new residential developments are on the outskirts of Riga. And this option is one of the few located in the center of the city. The building is roofed, the "rafters festival" has already been celebrated, the works are finishing. Delivery of the house is planned for the summer and fall of 2014. Sales will begin in January and February.
