Sales of apartments increased in the Latvian capital. In the first three months 2013, 2089 transactions with apartments were committed in Riga, 12% more than in the same period in 2012, reports Baltic Course with reference to the aggregate data of the land register Ober-Haus.
According to the last report, in January 2013, there were 705 transactions on purchase and sale of apartments in Riga, in February – 687, in March – 697.
The cost of serial property without repair was stagnant. In March 2013, a square meter of such housing in Riga cost €582 (407.4 lats). Standard apartments in good condition and adequate prices realized very quickly, the company said.
In March 2013, the cost of one-bedroom serial apartments without repair in Riga ranged from €19,000 to €29,000, two-room - from €25,000 to €37,000, three-room - from €31,000 to €44,000, four-room - from €40,000 to €46,000.
