Almost half of the population of Latvia (43%) believes that now is the time to buy home, according to Swedbank survey. The respondents believe that house prices are attractive and will not continue to decline.
"The mood of the society is becoming more positive. The number of people ready to make the purchase of previously deferred due to loss of stability is growing. A reasonable approach to the loan, the comparison of their plans to the financial possibilities in the coming years will dominate. This will favor the situation in the housing market: stable supply, relatively constant prices and the experience of previous years, "- says Dzintars Kalnins, head of finance department of Swedbank.
