The Solar Homes cottage community is the first private project in the country to be built using advanced energy saving technologies.
Location
CG Solar Homes in Almaty is being built in Medeu district at 23 Observatory Street at an altitude of 1450 meters above sea level. This is an ecologically clean part of the area without any industrial plants and busy highways, suitable for people who are tired of the hustle and bustle of the metropolis. There is an observatory nearby, and the center of Almaty can be reached in 10 minutes.

Within a kilometer radius from the complex there is a grocery store, a sanatorium "Ak-Kayin", and about one and a half kilometers to secondary school No. 47.

General characteristics of the town
CG Solar Homes - 46 two-storey elite-class townhouses, designed in a single modern style, taking into account the need for comfortable energy-efficient housing of A ++ level. According to the project, solar energy will be used to generate electricity and heat hot water.
The buildings are constructed from high quality materials that meet the required quality standards. The new building has German-made screw-pile foundations. Townhouses are insulated with the eco-friendly Canadian ICYNENE thermoprofile, which does not contain organic volatile substances and formaldehyde, does not support combustion and is a self-extinguishing material. Thanks to such thermal insulation, it will be possible to reduce the costs of air conditioning and heating of residential premises by 60%.
The window blocks are oversized and glazed with two-chamber energy-saving double-glazed windows in an aluminum profile, which is characterized by a long service life, and at the same time is considered an environmentally friendly material.
Beautification
The cottage town has a fenced and carefully guarded territory, around the entire perimeter of which it is planned to install 24-hour video surveillance cameras.
Near the houses there are pedestrian paths covered with paving slabs, as well as asphalt driveways intended for cars and special vehicles. Surface parking with a canopy is arranged near each building.
On the territory of the new building, lawns are broken, ornamental plants and trees are planted. Modern street lighting devices are being installed.
