In Italy, the Castello di Tavoleto with 700-year history is for sale for £3.7m (€5.08m). The castle was the seat of the Pope and the nobility of Umbria until it was sold to a private purchaser in 1960. In recent years major parties and magnificent weddings were held here, as reports ee24.com with reference to the British media.
The castle is located in the center of a small town Tavoleto in the Marche region. The road to the major cities as Pesaro, Urbino or Rimini will take less than an hour.
