In May 2013, it was announced that Sting began to lease his estate in Tuscany for weddings and private parties. The weekly rate is €7,000, according to dailymail.co.uk. For this money the lessee may rent one of six guest cottages. Each building accommodates 50 people.
British singer bought this Italian property in 1999. According to the assumptions made by British media, Sting and his wife actress Trudie Styler decided to rent out an estate in the historic Chianti area because of high Italian property taxes.
