In Italy is for sale the villa of Mona Lisa

The Italian agency Lionard Luxury Real Estate put up for sale a villa on Monte Aguglioni  (Florence) with a chapel, 3 greenhouses and gardens. In the late 15th - early 16th centuries, the object belonged to the family of Mona Lisa (Lisa del Giocondo).

Over the centuries, Tuscan winemakers Antinori owned the villa, which is reflected in the design of buildings. They decorated the facades with the label of one of the wine brands. In the early 20th century Marquis Natalie Antinori organized the reconstruction of the manor. The project has realized by her brother - an artist and architect Edzhisto Paolo Fabbri.

Besides the main building with the area of 2,800 m2, on the territory there are the tennis courts, olive and cypress alley, and the garden, created by the architect Cecil Ross Pinset.

There is no information if somebody has expressed interest in acquiring the object. In recent months, the volume of foreign investments in the Italian real estate is growing steadily. Therefore, there is a high probability that the new owner of Villa Mona Lisa will not be Italian.
