Law enforcement authorities of Italy have deprived Raffaele Petrone, the leader of the Neapolitan Camorra, of a huge amount of real estate for a total of €45 million, according to RBC. 20 plots, 4 villas, 40 apartments have been confiscated from the mafiosi, as well as several shops and clubs, sports car Ferrari and 27 motorcycles.
According to the police, Raffaele Petrone is one of the leaders of the Camorra in Naples, a big criminal structure in Italy. Over the past year the bandits' total revenue amounted to €4.5 billion.
The total amount of confiscated Petrone's property seems tiny in comparison to how much has benn seized from a Sicilian businessman Vito Nicastro. He had his property and posessions of €1.3 billion confiscated. That is a record amount that the police have ever withdrawn from a single person.
