Europe's longest bicycle and walking path will soon stretch along the Adriatic coast in the Italian region of Abruzzo. Its length will be 131 km. Cyclists and foot travelers can easily reach the town of Martinsicuro (Teramo province) to the city of San Salvo (Chieti province), informs italia-ru.com.
The project, called Bike to Coast, was presented by Abruzzo Governor Gianni Kodi and Assessor for Tourism Mauro Di Dalmatia. It is planned that for the construction of bicycle paths will be built three bridges. The project costs €32.8 million.
