The historical centre of San Buono is on the hill, at altitude of about 470 meters above sea level which opens magnificent views. A quiet measured life of the town will guarantee a relaxing retirement or an easy-paced holiday. There are about 1000 permanent residents in San Buono. Here you will find grocery stores, a supermarket, a post office, a pharmacy and a primary/secondary school. The sea and wonderful sandy beaches are only 20 km from the town.
