Corvara is a town of about 260 inhabitants at 625 m s.l.m. in Pescara province, which is about 50 km. The old village consists mainly of stone houses "pagliare" built on rock, after being almost totally abandoned in the last century, has been recovered recently and also developed being in the territory next to the Gran Sasso National Park. Currently the majority of inhabitants live in the new town in the valley with the town hall and several Districts. In the area there is some restaurant and farm. There are bus connections with neighboring Centers, the highway and the train station are about 15 km (Torre dei Passeri), the city of Pescara with the airport and the beaches of the Adriatic Sea is at 50 km.
