Property in Germany will continue to grow in price

In 2014, prices of real estate in Germany will grow, as it was predicted by experts of ee24.com, albeit at a slower pace than in 2013. It's likely that buying and renting will become more expensive by 3%. The pace of construction will overtake the demand, according to ee24.com citing bloomberg.com.

Construction of new homes will be particularly active in large cities, where young people move in search of work, such as Berlin, Munich and Frankfurt. Migration also contributes to increasing demand: now the population of Germany is 80.5 million, and a year later it will grow to 80.8 million.

Last year, the leaders of price growth in Germany were Munich (12%) and Berlin (8.5%).
