About the project
These new homes are being created at a special, traditional location in the centre of Munich. The Nockherberg area, between Hochstrasse, Pöppelstrasse and Regerstrasse in the district of Au-Haidhausen, was for a long time dedicated to the beer culture of the Paulaner brewery. In the future, it will find its destiny as a new, liveable and green urban quarter. The change in the Upper Au begins with the ensemble "Wohnen am Nockherberg Mitte". The nine buildings of the first construction phase are part of a city square on Regerstraße. Not only are they located on top of the hill, but their varied arrangement and different heights and structures are also reminiscent of a mountainous silhouette rising from the countryside. This preferential location, standing above the surrounding area, also promises exhilaration: to the west the complex borders directly on the wide, green park area, east of a protected, carefully planted courtyard. Housing attractive 1- to 5-room condominiums, the buildings offer individuality and diversity – and the beautiful feeling of living a little above the everyday.
