The third administrative district of Lyon, founded in 1970, is currently under reconstruction. Renewal of the district should strengthen this achievement by creating an additional 650,000 sq.m. of office space. Oxygen tower was built in 2010. It is planned that the skyscraper Incity will be delivered in 2015 with the Via Garibaldi and the Cours Lafayette. The height of the tower Incity will be 200 meters, 42,000 sq.m. of area, and there will be 2,700 jobs. The tower will be built according to ecological standards: 95% of offices will be illuminated by the daylight.

The area around the skyscrapers in the Part-Dieu will be completely rebuilt. A group of architects is working to replace sidewalks, tunnels and bridges built in the 1970s.
