According to statistics, in 2012, the demand for land for cottages in Finland decreased by 12%, and the number of sales of cottages fell by 6% compared to 2011.
In 2012, the number of transactions of agricultural land increased by 19% compared to 2011. The most expensive fields were in the region of Varsinais-Suomi (€12,100 per hectare), and the most expensive forest - in Uusimaa (€5,300 per hectare).
