Finnish rental market lacks demand

Not enough tenants – that  is the current situation on the Finnish rental market according to the Union of housing landlords of Finland (Suomen vuokranantajat). Moreover, this situation is observed even in the largest and fastest-growing cities.

The current market situation is more favorable for tenants than for owners - less than 50% of private landlords increase the cost of rent despite the rise in housing costs to prevent losing customers. In turn, large firms consistently raise rent, despite the difficult economic situation in the country.
