Finland: property prices declined in several regions

In April 2013, the real estate market in Finland showed a slight decline in prices, according to Fontanka.fi with reference to the monthly report realty company Huoneistokeskus.

Housing became cheaper in several regions in a monthly basis. Reduced prices recorded in the property market in Espoo (from €3,428 in March 2013 to €3,387 in April), Tampere (from €2,430 to €2,380), Kuopio (from €2,032 to €2,017), Pori (from €1,477 to €1,443) and Lahti (from €1,828 to €1,785).

House prices climbed in April 2013 in Helsinki, where the average apartment price went up to €4,236 per square meter (€4,158 in March), and in Vantaa (€2,672), Turku (€2,002), Oulu (€1,826) and Joensuu (€2,189).

On the sale of real estate in the capital region of Finland took about 58 days (53 days in March 2013). The figure in other regions Suomi was 72 days (74 days in March).
