Forbes presented to the public ranking of cities, the most popular among millionaires and multimillionaires. The leader was predictably London. It's not suprising that the UK capital is the most preferred destination for investment. Forbes predicts that in next 10 years London will remain in first place for wealthy people from all over the world.
London is followed by New York and Hong Kong. For the american metropolis analysts predict still at least a decade in the top 10, while Hong Kong will have to give up his position to Beijing.
The top ten also includes Paris, Singapore, Miami, Geneva, Shanghai, Beijing and Berlin.
The experts at Knight Frank predict a rise in popularity of Brazilian Sao Paulo, that after 10 years may well take place in Shanghai in the top ten. The publication notes that due to the big popularity of London among wealthy people demand and prices for elite real estate continues to grow.
The data for the rating was provided by Knight Frank, specializing in luxury properties. The data were collected through surveys of 15,000 people whose condition is not less than $30 million (€22.8 million).
