Investors from China surprise the world by their activity

Over the past six years, investment of Chinese companies in overseas property increased by six times. If in 2010 they totaled $900 million (€679 million), then in 2012 have reached $5.6 billion (€4,2 billion), reports ee24.com referring to Property Wire.

This year that figure continues to grow due to large-scale construction projects in London, New York, Sydney and other key cities. Experts predict a further increase in Chinese investment by 20% over the next 10 years.

Investors from China are most active in southern Europe, the Americas, as well as in London. For example, Ping'an Insurance, Insurance Company of China, recently purchased the Lloyds Building in London for $392 million (€295 million).
