According to the website Zoopla, the average price of real estate in the country has increased since the beginning of the year by £16,265 (€20,515) and reached £260,488 (€328,558). Inflation in the housing market, therefore, amounted to 6.7%, while prices increased the most notably in the city of Salford near Manchester, where housing has risen in price by 12% and costs £138,619 (€174,842).
The most expensive property in the UK is still located in London. From January the average home in the capital went up by 8.2% or £43,115 (€54,382) to the price of £567,392 (€715,661).
