In Prague in November more apartments than in 2012 was sold

In Prague, from January to November 2013, 4,531 apartments was sold, which is 12.9% more than during the previous year, reports ee24.com citing praguemonitor.com.

In October and November 2013, 1067 new apartments was sold in Prague. Evzen Korec, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors in Ekospol, believes that by the end of the year 4800 apartments will be sold in Prague, despite the fact that December is traditionally considered a quiet month for the housing market. Prague real estate prices are rising for the fourth consecutive year.

According to Korec, the sales growth is driven by three factors: low interest on mortgages, a large number of apartments costing up to 45,000 CZK (€1,640 ) per sq.m, and a growing trend toward the purchase of real estate to invest in the future. In contrast to the general situation on the market of the country, real estate in Prague demonstrates stable growth.
