Police house is up for sale in Karlovy Vary

A building with the Czechoslovakian police backward is up for sale for €1.5 million. It is located in the center of the Czech spa town of Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad) on Ivan Petrovich Pavlov street.

In the 1920-30s this building was the house of the Czechoslovakian police, and during the Protectorate and the Second World War it was the residence of "imperial police gestapo." In 2012, a permission to make hotel here was obtained, and the object was put up for sale. There were no repairs since the 1930s, and original arrested chambers have been preserved.

Now there is the Office for Property Affairs of the Czech Government, so the sale will be accompanied by the collection of many documents from government agencies.
