Restrictions on the movement of capital in Cyprus will be abolished in 2014

The Government of Cyprus intends to announce the lifting of restrictions on the movement of capital in the country since January 2014, according to ee24.com with reference to the Cyprus Property News.

President Nikos Anastasiadis said the decision to cancel the restrictions imposed in spring of 2013 are dictated by the need to create conditions for economic growth, tackle unemployment and stabilize the financial system.

First of all, the lifting of restrictions will affect those who have already sold the property in Cyprus, but was not able to withdraw capital from the country.
