According to statistics from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the last four years, 16 911 foreigners received Croatian citizenship.
The increased interest to live in Croatia has seen dozens of specialized companies open up in the UK, USA and China, offering their citizens services to move to Croatia.

2 893 foreigners currently have work permits in Croatia, with the most coming from Bosnia and Herzegovina, China and Italy. There were also 431 permits issued in 2011 and 2012 to foreigners opening up companies in Croatia, again the most coming from Bosnia and Herzegovina, followed by Russia, Germany and Italy.
