Croatian government is going to make renting easier for access

Authorities of Zagreb have decided how to provide easy for access renting for young professionals. The city will rent its flats out for a minimal cost, according ee24.com citing limun.hr.

City authorities now control 6637 apartments. Soon they'll get 581 more apartments, which are now owned by "Zagreb Holding". The Directorate of Property Rights took the initiative to provide this accommodation to rent for young families under the most simple conditions.

So, there are two basic conditions. The applicant should not own any real estate in Zagreb. His income must be at least 1,930 kuna (about €253). According to authorities, earning less than this amount, it will be difficult to rent a flat.

Let us recall: the portal ee24.com already reported that in the case of the simultaneous appearance of such a large number of apartments in the market, the cost 1 sq.m renting could be reduced to 20 kuna (€2,62). Thus, the large 80-meter apartment will cost 1,600 kuna, while the 40-meter one-bedroom apartment will cost 800 kuna (€104,9).
