Croatia introduced a visa regime for the Russians

Croatia introduced a visa regime for Russian citizens from April 1, as preparation for joining the European Union, which will happen July 1, 2013. For a start, Croatia will issue national and not Schengen visas, as it already happens in Bulgaria.

Russian citizens, holding a valid Schengen visa, are able to enter in Croatia prior to 1 July, 2013. It is possible that such regime will continue after July 1, if the Russian government and the European Union come to an agreement.

Visa to Croatia will be issued within five days and cost €35 for a common visa and €69 - for an urgent visa.
