Special police on construction may appear in Bulgaria as a part of the National Directorate of Construction Control. The police will get functions of supervision in the field of buildings construction. Policemen will be allowed to visit the construction sites and record violations, according to ee24.com citing newsbg.ru.
Architect Nikolay Christov, who've recently become the head of the Directorate, explained that now experts can't attend the construction sites on their own initiative, but if the developer incorrectly filled out the paperwork or the Directorate recieves a complaint.
In addition to creating a new oversight body, Christov is planning to initiate a change to the Territory law, which will lead to a simplification of formalities and liability for unauthorized construction.
