Foreigners are 2 times less interested in Bulgaria

The Bulgarian National Bank has published statistics on foreign investment in the country's economy for the first 3 quarters of 2013. Investments from abroad have decreased by 2 times compared with the previous year, to €854.4 million, according to ee24.com citing the Bulgarian National Bank.

Most funds were attracted from the Netherlands (€578.9 million) and Germany (€93.7 million). Russians have invested €78.5 million in the economy of Bulgaria. Accordingly, investments from all other countries accounted for €103.3 million.

Foreign investments in real estate in Bulgaria have also decreased significantly - from €183.6 million to €100.7 million.
