Every day 27 Russian citizens are buying property in Bulgaria

Yuri Isakov, Russian Ambassador to Bulgaria, said that in 2013 about 10 thousand Russians have bought property in Bulgaria. In other words, every day 27 people from Russia are buying houses and apartments in Bulgaria, according to ee24.com citing focus-fen.net.

Last days were rich in statistics related to the Russians in Bulgaria. For example, it was revealed that the Russians were the most frequent travelers to Bulgaria in 2013. Ambassador of this sunny country in Moscow said that 400 thousand Russian citizens owned houses in Bulgaria. Russian Ambassador disagrees with him: Yuri Isakov says about 300-350 thousand owners of real estate in cities and on resorts in Bulgaria.

Property prices in Bulgaria are about €800 per sq.m in Sofia and from €500 per sq.m on the coast. It is expected that this year property prices start to rise.
