Over the past year the number of citizens in Bulgaria who declared the income from housing rent, increased by 6 000 people. Totally in 2015 was declared about 213 million Lev received by landlords.
Experts believe that the Bulgarians more actively began to buy property and rent it out because interest rates in local banks fell by almost 5%.
Currently, about 20% of transactions with real estate in Bulgaria are made in capital investment purpose.
Some buyers invest in expensive housing oriented on wealthy tenants. Others prefer apartment with two rooms priced from €50 to €70K. During the year, such facilities bring up to €3 500. The percentage of banks will amount only €563 per year.
