About the project
The former site of AZ Sint-Maarten is being transformed into a new part of the city for living and working. New apartments, homes, a city hotel and office and retail space will be built between the station, the Vesten and the canal. A public park and a residential street – together accounting for 3,800 m2 of new public space – make this project a reclaimed part of Mechelen for everyone.
The offer
On the 10,000 m2 site, Ciril is creating 74 apartments and 21 homes, spread over 7 buildings, each with its own character. In addition, a city hotel and office and retail space will also have their own place on the site – all 500 meters from the historic city center.
At the same time, the site is also located on the calm waters of the canal and five minutes from the station. An underground rotational car park, spacious bicycle sheds and several new cycling and walking paths through the site make Maarten easily accessible for everyone.
