Real Estate in Vienna continues to rise in price, that is evident in the prices that sellers appoint for apartments. Half of the objects are offered at a price from €300,000, and 25% - from € 500,000, writes ee24.com citing austrianindependent.com.
1st district , the so-called inner city, is leading by the share of expensive apartments in Vienna. 92% of apartments are offered for sale for half a million euros and above. The most expensive housing in the capital and throughout Austria is a penthouse of 800 sq.m which was set on the market for €21 million. As already reported by the portal ee24.com, the average cost per square meter in Vienna exceeded €4,200, and the average price of apartments amounted to €199,000.
Apartments in Salzburg cost almost as much as in Vienna. Here, 45% of properties are more expensive than €300,000, and 31% are more expensive than €500,000. In Tyrol the latter rate is even higher - 38%.
