Camille Cofano is accused of abuse of power under in the protected area. He was sued by the environmental organization SOS Lloret. Environmentalists were outraged by the construction of luxurious mansion of 3000 sq.m in Can Juncadella. According to the ACN the works are being done by Flinder Data SLU by order of the President of Kazakhstan.
The basis of the lawsuit is the abuse of the official duties, which allowed Camille Cofano issuing a permit for construction in the protected area. In favor of the conclusion of the case say the three expert reports that didn't recommend to give the approval for construction.
The house has its own theater, cinema, massage room, Jacuzzi, three saunas, a gym, a tea ceremony room, 13 bedrooms and 20 bathrooms. Until the court makes the final decision on the matter, the construction of the chalet will continue.
