In Belgrade, sales of apartments rose

Starting from the second half of 2012 in Belgrade has been an increased demand for the purchase of real estate. This information is shared by Mina Kalezić, director of sales and marketing at CBS International, reports ee24.com citing BalkanPro.ru.

The main problem of the Serbian capital is the lack of quality projects in the city center. This leads to the fact that the level of sales in the secondary housing market is more than in the primary market. In the central regions of Belgrade houses of 30-50 apartments are erected, and in areas such as Vozdovac and Novi Beograd they build the entire building complexes, which can accommodate more than 100 apartments.

The greatest demand is observed for the apartments of 30-60 square meters. In September 2013 the demand for metropolitan studios significantly increased. Experts attribute this to the influx of nonresident students that enrolled in higher education institutions in the capital. The most popular areas among customers are: Zvezdara, Konyarnik, Vracar, Dedinje and Novi Beograd.

The analysts have insufficient supply of apartments in Belgrade. In particular, in the center of the city. The main reason for this are the unfinished constructions. Across the country, there are 25,000 unfinished apartments. After the completion of these projects, real estate in Serbia will become more attractive to buyers.
