Investors head for Dublin

The company Beneco Privatstiftung owned by Yelena Baturina, Yuri Luzhkov (ex-mayor of Moscow) wife, bought the four-star Morrison hotel in Dublin (Ireland) for €22 million. The deal was concluded on the basis of the tender, organized by the Irish National Asset Management Agency (NAMA) at the end of 2011.

"Morrison will be a pilot project in the field of commercial real estate for my investment in Ireland. At the same time, we organize a fund of high-quality real estate with my European partners", said Elena Baturina.

According to Batyrina’s point of view the project will be realized in wide range of countries, including Germany, Denmark, Norway, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia. The fund assets value estimates for £500,000,000.

Currently, Baturina’s hotel chain includes hotels in Russia, Austria and the Czech Republic. Entrepreneur continues to realize the commercial real estate projects not only in Europe but also in Asia (Kazakhstan) and Africa (Morocco).
