Sweden is another country where price abatement assists in making profitable purchases. Crisis influenced real estate market in Sweden at the second half of 2010 when begins housing price cutting. But this lowering was in 4–8% range. While in some places, prices start rising from 2010 till now. For example in the north-east part of the country in province of Vasterbotten (up 4,4%), Gotland (up 3,8%) and in Uppsala (up 2,8%).

Sweden is one of the few countries in Western Europe, where was marked fairly high economic growth during last year- about 4%. This year, the growth continues, while next year the growth predicted to be the same – 4%.

As in the Netherlands, in Sweden, during the period from 1996 to 2007 there was a rapid rise in housing value. For example, in the central regions of Stockholm, as well as in Gothenburg and Malmo prices grew by 200–240% during 11 years. Housing in Sweden can be easily purchased with 2–3% mortgage loan rate.
