This is explained by high supply on the Spanish real estate market, formed by individuals and banks willing to sell their real estate objects.
Also, incomes from renting grow. According to the National Statistics Institute of Spain, the cost of rent has grown in Asturias and the Basque country 1,2% up, in Catalonia 1,4% up in April 2012.
