The British and the Swedes - the most active buyers on Costa Brava

In 2015 foreign buyers have purchased 6% more real estate than in 2014 – 17 486 objects.

Traditionally, demand leaders are UK residents (4826 objects ,50% more than in 2014).

The Swedes pushed Russian buyers from their usual second place - in addition to the crisis in Russia,  the reason the growth of the Swedish economy, as well as improving of air traffic between Sweden and Alicante.

The number of deals with Russian buyers has decreased almost twice - from 1781 in 2014 to 991 in 2015. The situation on the oil market influensed negatively on the demand from Norwegian customers as well - they made 16% fewer transactions than a year earlier.

In third place in 2015 there are buyers from Belgium (1761 transactions). By the way Belgian buyers are more likely to make a deal with expensive real estate - in the average cost of acquired by Belgians objects is 30% higher than that of buyers from other countries.
