About the project
ZWIRN is the newest chapter in the rich history of the former industrial space belonging to Bratislava’s thread factory, starting a new story which will turn this extraordinary location into a lively Bratislava neighbourhood well-suited to modern lifestyles.
Imagine a space where the modern meets the traditional, where the benefits of living in the city centre combine with the advantages of living in a quiet place. ZWIRN is precisely that place. In part, the neighbourhood owes itsunique spirit to the meticulously renovated national cultural monument,the old spinning mill, now known as Pradiareň 1900. Thanks to the square,and lots of shops and pleasant cafés, a really lively space is created.
ZWIRN revitalises the popular and established location near Dulovo square. It consists of high-quality urban architecture inspired by the industrial history of this place. The trio of residential blocks respects the surrounding buildings, allowing for the creation of high-quality public spaces with pleasant inner courtyards for its inhabitants.
We have created the courtyards in line with our good courtyard concept. We believe that courtyards are an ideal space to relax after a tough day, a safe haven for children’s games, and a great means of building a friendly community of neighbours. For us, this is the basis of truly peaceful living.
