According to the TurkStat, a growth of property sales in Turkey was estimated at 32.4% in March 2015 y-o-y. 116,030 transactions were concluded, out of which 1,610 – with foreigners (+18% in annual terms).
Foreigners generally buy a property in Istanbul and two provinces, Antalya and Yalova
Foreigners have focused in Istanbul (548 transactions), Antalya (451) and Yalova (119).
Istanbul has become the property sales leader to both local and foreign investors: the Istanbul's proportion of transactions was estimated at 18.9% of total property sales in Turkey. Ankara and the western province of Izmir followed the main metropolis of the country with a share of 12.2% and 5.9% respectively.
