The “Am Riedthof” apartments are based on a basic idea: comfortable, sustainable living for a broad target group with different needs. The 5 structures are surrounded by carefully landscaped parkland with play areas, recreation areas and native trees, shrubs and perennials. In terms of sustainability, the entire heating energy is generated with a groundwater heat pump and a large part of the electricity required is generated by a photovoltaic system on the roofs. In summer, tenants benefit from passive cooling via underfloor heating (GeoCooling).
