Rating of the most innovative countries in 2013

UN conducted a study of the most advanced countries of the world. The European countries are ahead of the rest, according to the report of the World Intellectual Property Organization. The rating includes 142 countries, selected in terms of innovation capacity and economic power.

The first two positions for three years are reserved Sweden and Switzerland. The third place goes to the UK. Also in the top five are included the Netherlands and the United States. The report notes that the global crisis has not affected the pace of innovation.

Innovation Index is computed by analyzing the elements of the economy, which is embodied innovation, such as public institutions, infrastructure, human capital and research, market development, business development, knowledge and technological results.
