The real estate market in Switzerland came to deadlock

The fate of suburban residences in Switzerland is still in question because of inaccurate date of entry into force the Weber law. The results of last year's referendum about ban of the construction of second homes has led to a deadlock in the property market in Switzerland, reported Nasha Gazeta.

If the date is be the day of acceptance of Weber initiative (March 11, 2012), all building permits, issued after that date, will expire. For example, only in the Vale over the past year such permits were issued over a thousand.

According to the new law, no more than 20% of properties must be registered additionally (as a second home or a vacation home) in any place of Switzerland. The ban on second home extends to foreigners as well as the Swiss. In some areas, however, this figure is exceeded 2-3 times.
