Spanish businessmen do not believe in positive changes

Despite the fact that the Index of business confidence has been growing during the past year and a half, negative expectations are still prevalent for Q3 2014. 29% of businesses believe that their performance will deteriorate in the near future, 53.7% do not believe in changes, and only 17.3% expect improvements, reports ee24.com with reference to the National Statistics Institute. 

Buying commercial property in Spain is becoming more attractive. Two years ago, expectations were negative in 47.2% of companies and positive in 7.3%.

Nationally, the Index increased by 4% for Q3. Business climate is improving in all regions except of the Canary Islands (-0.6%), especially in the Basque Country (+9.9%), Castilla - La Mancha (+7.1%), Castilla y Leon (+6.3 %), the Balearic Islands (+5.4%) and Valencia (+5.2%).
